Al Boom Pleasure Dive Pre-requisites

Eastcoast Dive Trip:

If availing our round-trip shuttle transfer, you must be at the dive centre at 6.15AM
If driving your own car, you must be at Le Meridien Hotel at 9AM
Please bring your certification card and log book on the day of your dive.
Nitrox divers must bring their nitrox certification card.
Diver’s log must show last dive within the first 6 months, otherwise a refresher is recommended.
A refresher must be done on a separate day.
Refresher must be done prior to your scheduled dive trip
Booking will only be confirmed upon payment and a booking confirmation sheet will then be sent to you once we received payment. Otherwise you can still dive but on your own risk and we will not guarantee your space on the boat.

decide not to take the bus, but have booked place on it
payment is required to confirm your booking; bookings close at 3pm the day before, for the next day, non-payment means cancellation of your space.
Cancellation policy is 48 hours. If you do not inform us in advanced, it means you will still be charge the full amount.

If availing our round-trip shuttle transfer, you must be at the dive centre at 6am for the dhow trip and 6:30am for the speedboat trip.
For the dhow trip -> If driving your own car, you can meet us at the ADNOC station at 8AM or at the DIBBA PORT at 8.30AM. A big Al Boom Banner is strategically placed at the DHOW where everyone can easily see it.
For the speedboat trip -> If driving your own car, please meet us at the Dibba Port at 9:00am

you are required to bring your original passport/Emirates ID as they will be checking it at the border, refusal of entry of the border will not exempt you from paying your dive trip.
it is your responsibility to inform our reservations in writing your proper equipment size: BCD; wetsuit, shoe & fin size as we will prepare all the equipment in advance. We will not be responsible for wrong information given.

The minimum age for the aquarium dive is 10 years old.
Below 18 years old must have a signed parent’s consent and must bring it on the day of their dive and must give it to the assigned instructor.
All divers are required to sign the indemnity release form and must bring it on the day of the dive and must give it to the assigned instructor
You must be at the aquarium one hour before the dive. Late-comers will not be entertained.
For non-certified divers doing DSD -> You must be at the dive centre at 11am for the pool session.
for your own safety and for the security of the company, the management is not allowing the divers to bring their own cameras (video and photo) within the vicinity or underwater.

Recommendations of the 2002 Flying After Diving

For Dives within the No-Decompression Limits:

Single Dives – A minimum preflight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested.
Repetitive Dives and/or Multiday Dives – A minimum preflight surface interval of 18 hours is suggested.

SCUBA TUNE UP & NAVIGATION DIVE – every Friday at Jumeirah Beach; 2pm.

PPB & U/W NATURALIST DIVE – every Saturday in Fujeirah

DEEP & WRECK DIVE – every 2nd and 4th Friday in Fujeirah or Jebel Ali, Dubai

EXTRA DIVE

Night Dive – every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at Jumeirah Beach 6pm.
150 AED extra cost excluding torch
