DIVE CENTRE:
Our
5 Star IDC Dive Centre in Fujairah is located at Le Meridien Al
Aqah. The centre has 1 classroom, a retail shop, changing rooms
and showers, and full equipment rental on site, all PADI courses
from first timer to instructor are offered. Snorkelling trips and
water sports are also available.
Dives to the local favourite reef and wreck sites
leave daily at 9am; 12pm and 3pm.
Snorkelling trips leave daily at 3pm and private
snorkelling trips can be booked.
An artificial reef site has been placed just off the hotel swimming
area and is developing well. Conservation courses and reef monitoring
courses are available on this developing reef on request.
Sandwiches packaged from Le Meridien Al Aqah are
available for 25 Dhs per person to enjoy between dives; there is
a choice of: roast beef; chicken pesto and grilled veg. Divers also
get 25% discount at the Gonu Bar.

Dibba Rock
Dibba Rock is a nature reserve marked by the
beacons around the island.
You can expect to see a lot of reef fish:
parrot-fish, clown fish and banner-fish, as well as turtles,
stingrays and maybe a friendly reef shark. There are lots
of corals to see: brain corals, raspberry-rice coral, and
hard corals
Maximum depth is 8-12m.

Martini Rock
Martini Rock is named because some people
think that it looks like an up-side-down martini glass. The
rock has sloping sides that descend to a maximum depth of
12m.
You can expect to see a lot of reef fish:
boxfish, clown fish and damselfish, as well as turtles, and
possibly a seahorse on the far side. Watch out for and be
careful not to touch sea urchins, jellyfish and stonefish.

Sharm Rock
Sharm Rock is a nature reserve marked by the
beacons around the island.
You can expect to see a lot of reef fish:
pipefish, puffer-fish and sergeant major fish, as well as
turtles. There are a lot of corals to see: brain corals, raspberry-rice
coral, and hard corals. Watch out for and be careful not to
touch sea urchins, jellyfish and stonefish.
Maximum depth is 8-12m.

Inchscape 1
Inchscape 1 was originally a supply ship used
to transport people and cargo. It was sunk intentionally to
provide a dive site.
Inchscape 1 has a famous inhabitant, Fred,
who is a large moray eel. You will also see schools of yellow
snapper, barracuda and, if you look carefully, some nudibranchs.

Inchscape 2 was originally a supply ship used
to transport people and cargo. It was sunk intentionally to
provide a dive site.
Inchscape 2 has a swim through. You
will see schools of yellow snapper, barracuda and, if you
look carefully, some nudibranchs and possible a sea horse.
