Al Boom Diving offers a variety of motorized and non-motorized Watersports at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah. Lessons for water-skiing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and a variety of other water sport are available if needed. Boat rides and Snorkeling
If you are not ready to take the plunge and start diving, you can always join us and your friends, on the boats for some boat cruising, sun tanning and snorkelling. Join us for a relaxed Friday on our Musandam dhow trip where you can relax on our dhow with big, comfortable cushions and an Arabic buffet lunch. Boat rides and snorkelling trips on our speedboats at Al Aqah and in the Musandam are also available. Timings are 9am, 12 noon and 3pm daily.
Musandam Dhow Trip – Sailing and Diving in the Musandam
The Musandam Peninsula is the northernmost part of Oman jutting out into the Strait of Hormuz at the entrance to the Persian Gulf. The province, or governorate of Musandam as it is officially known, is separated from the rest of Oman by the United Arab Emirates. Musandam more or less begins where the mountains rise from the plains of Ras al Khaimah. Musandam has sites suitable for advanced open water and higher level divers. Dolphins, sharks, large rays, colourful corals, large lobsters and even whale sharks have been spotted here. There is also a nice cavern dive and a few sites with nice wall dives. There are of course numerous yet undiscovered sites. Snorkelers and guests – coming along to enjoy the scenery – all are most welcome
Freediving
Al Boom Diving is excited to announce AIDA freedive training with Sara-Lise Haith. Courses have already started and are very popular, and spaces are limited!
